Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance of class II or III with embedded software in the medical device field.
• Demonstrated competency of 21 CFR 820, ISO13485, ISO 14971, and other international standards.
• Electro-mechanical engineering experience and the ability to take on technical challenges through resolution is a huge plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in an applied science or engineering field is highly desirable.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Understands and can subsequently explain complex quality details to non-experts.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP / MRP systems and their applications.

Job responsibilities

We are seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to work directly with the R&D organization on new product development initiatives and wearable medical device technologies. This individual will be responsible for the ownership of the Product Lifecycle, Design Control, and Design Transfer processes, as well as, leading the quality elements of design projects as a core team member. As a Staff QE on development projects, you would lead both the hardware and firmware quality deliverables and objectives and closely collaborate with leaders and team members from R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, Data Science, and Clinical Research organizations to ensure quality activities and processes are established in a robust manner.
