The Role

Location : Krakow (hybrid)

Principle Accountabilities

  • Independent Testing :  Execute independent testing of pre-defined control activities or coordinate and review testing performed by others.
  • Policy Localisation :  Support local and cluster management in implementing the Group’s minimum control requirements and localising the internal control framework.
  • Stakeholder Management :  Manage key stakeholders across the Group’s operations, providing consistent and comprehensive assurance over key controllable risks.
  • Control Implementation :  Support the implementation of control activities in retained processes and maintain related procedures.
  • Assurance Planning :  Actively participate in the annual assurance planning process across the full GBS Compliance CoC scope.
  • Monitoring and Reporting :  Perform specific monitoring control activities and provide relevant and insightful reporting on compliance levels, remedial actions, and risk mitigation.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Accounting Knowledge :  Good understanding of accounting standards / principles, tax, and statutory reporting.
  • Experience : experience in internal or external auditing or internal control compliance.
  • Organizational Skills :  Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow schedules and achieve goals.
  • Analytical Skills :  Great logical thinking, analytical, and report writing skills to visualize data in insightful ways.
  • Relationship Building :  Ability to develop broad, cooperative relationships with diverse stakeholders and colleagues from multicultural backgrounds across multiple countries.
  • Proactive Approach :  Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work, with a desire for continued self-development and confidence in dealing with others.
