Linux Administrator

Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, primarily Ubuntu
• Handle routine administrative tasks including service management, user permissions, cron job scheduling, and log analysis
• Troubleshoot system performance and connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or other shell scripting tools.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
Requirements :
• Linux
• Fluency in Linux system administration (especially Ubuntu)
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash, etc.)
• Managing services, permissions, cron jobs, and log analysis
• Troubleshooting system performance and connectivity issues MS SQL
• Strong SQL skills : writing queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers and query optimization
• Experience with database performance tuning and index optimization
• Backup and recovery strategies System & Network Security
• Understanding of HTTPS protocol, SSL / TLS certificates, and secure communication practices
• Experience configuring secure Linux environments (, SSH hardening, firewall rules)
• Familiarity with network segmentation and access control Observability, Alert & Monitoring
• Data analysis and visualization
