Intern in Banking Operations Your role

Are you well-organized and detail-oriented? Do you have a high client service orientation and risk awareness? We're looking for someone who is ready to perform the following tasks in Derivatives area :

  • process ETD & OTC transactions, while being responsible for products during their whole lifecycle (starting from setup of product up until expiration)
  • monitor and process pending items, correcting discrepancies during daily workflow
  • launch investigations, prepare documents, provide information, andpose correspondence with stakeholders
  • identify and resolve technical and settlement issues with reconciliation tool
  • interact with client relationship teams and other front and middle office teams

Your team

You will be working in Derivatives Team which is based in Wrocław, Dominikański Center. We deliver outstanding service to the Wealth Management Europe business and ensure client satisfaction is on the highest level.

Our internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you'll need to launch your career. It's also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in the Team. Your paid internship will last 6 months based on a 40-hour week with flexible working hours between 7 : 30am-5pm. Successful interns will have an opportunity to remain at UBS on a permanent basis.

Your expertise

  • you don't have to show us previous professional experience, but if you have it, it's an asset
  • motivated, self-directed and driven, as well as adaptable and able to work across teams and functions
  • ability to take responsibility and stay focused on objectives with a can-do-attitude
  • fortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • available to work under pressure
  • great organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • goodmunication and relationship building skills
  • fluent in English, both spoken and written (knowledge of another language would be an asset)
