Head of Engineering – Connected Systems

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a strategic and technically strong Engineering Manager to lead the continued development of our next-generation IoT SaaS platform, which collects financial and operational data from cash processing devices. While our customers have already been migrated to the new platform, we are entering a phase of further feature expansion to deliver even greater value.

This is a fully remote role, leading a distributed team of Polish and Swedish engineers. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently shaping both the technical and business direction of the product. You will report directly to the CTO and lead three teams (two product teams and one infrastructure team), totaling 15 engineers.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate two product development teams and one infrastructure team.
• Own and drive both the technical and business roadmaps for the platform, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Contribute to and review technical designs and architectural decisions.
• Ensure the platform's performance, scalability, and availability through sound engineering practices.
• Recruit and grow the R&D team, including hiring, onboarding, and career development.
• Establish and evolve internal development processes and collaboration workflows with other departments.
• Act as a technical advisor to sales and presales teams, supporting customer engagements.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and excellence.
