SAP Solution Architect

What is the job like, really?

In this role you will be designing and implementing complex SAP solutions for a variety of clients to meet their business requirements. You usually work with several clients simultaneously and are involved throughout the project lifecycle from discovery to architectural design to production. You are not afraid to take ownership and enjoy supporting the client throughout the project. Finding the best possible solution for the client is something that motivates you.

Our projects can be demanding, but you'll be able to handle that together with your future teammates as they are at the top of their game. Key responsibilities :

Support functional consultants in designing solutions for the gaps identified.

Engaging in presales and customer consultancy activities, including workshop facilitation, creating proposals, and designing solutions that translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural designs.

Technical leadership of project team to guide team through the project providing direction and managing the team until the support phase.

Ensuring solutions integrate correctly with existing IT infrastructure and external systems.

Communication with business stakeholders and other IT functions including project managers.

Define a long-term technology roadmap for the SAP landscape, ensuring it supports the company's overall strategic goals.

What are we looking for?

Several years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect or in a similar role, with over 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP, system integrations, performance optimization, and ABAP. Experience in Fiori and BTP is considered a plus.

Strong expertise in ABAP, including Object-Oriented ABAP and Restful ABAP Programming.

Hands-on experience with at least some of the SAP integration options (IDoc, OData, CPI, CI / DS) and forms development (Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, or SAPscript).

Ability to add business value to solution design, not just follow specifications.

Knowledge and experience in delivering projects following clean core principles, with the ability to estimate work and budgets, plan development roadmaps, and select suitable tools for each case.

Strong experience of a systematic and brisk working approach to lead project technical development team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders in English. Finnish is seen as a plus.
