About The Project

In your role as Application Specialist you will be a member of an international team of IT experts who are developing, maintaining and operating new applications and services within the securities management processes.

You will be responsible for understanding complex applications, data flows and their business purpose in order to integrate new modules, changes or releases into our IT landscape. You will use the standard tools in service management Incident, Problem, Request and Change. You will be responsible for recognizing, analyzing, eliminating and documenting all IT faults according to the product‑specific specifications. You will be involved in the implementation of changes in the production and test process requirements and coordinate interventions in automatic processes with the product managers. You work closely with the business experts and engineering development in interdisciplinary teams and are motivated and open to the agile approach (Scrum Kanban).

You Carry Out And Take Responsibility For The Tasks And Activities Relating To The Operation Of Applications In Production With The Following Goals :

Optimise operation in production;
Implement changes in accordance with requirements;
Ensure the Service Level Agreements (SLA) are adhered to.

What you will be doing?

Controlling and monitoring the central and decentralized applications, online systems and batch production;

Analyzing, resolving and documenting IT faults;

Implementation of changes in the production process as per change request;

Assurance of interrupted availability of the systems and applications;

Manual intervention in automatic processes in conjunction with the product managers or on request;

Handling of changes / incidents / problems with ticketing systems;

Conceptional tasks around technical solutions, data‑ and business‑ / process models;

Performing the test and deployment process for new or released applications and interfaces, very often based on webMethods.s

Which technology & skills are important for us?

Good knowledge of Unix system (RedHat, Solaris)

Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases (Oracle, IBM DB2)

Good knowledge of OpenShift, Azure and Tivoli

Good knowledge of HPSM Ticketing system and Mainframe Operating System : z / OS

Good knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) and OPC Operation Planning an Control / TWS Tivoli Workload Scheduler

Basic knowledge of JIRA / Confluence

English (B2 level)
