FVL Carriers Development Specialist

Your responsibilities
- The main responsibility of a FVL Carriers Development Specialist is to build strong relationship with our carrier partners. These are the companies that move our cars and are the face to the customer. Your role is to manage carrier development daily task. Further expanding our carrier base by searching, contacting and onboarding new carriers as well as observing market circumstances and trends related to finished vehicles logistics.
- Carrier Development :
- Identifying and evaluating potential new carriers, assessing their reliability, capacity, and suitability for the company's needs.
- Negotiating contracts and rates with carriers, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitoring carrier performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain carriers, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration.
- Carrier Onboarding :
- Streamlining the onboarding process for new carriers, ensuring they are quickly and effectively integrated into the company's systems and procedures.
- Providing clear communication and guidance to new carriers, explaining the company's requirements and expectations.
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of new carriers into the transportation network.
- Developing and delivering training programs for new carriers, covering topics such as safety, compliance, and best practices.
- Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensuring that all carriers comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Monitoring and mitigating risks associated with carrier operations, including safety, security, and financial risks.
- Implementing and maintaining a robust compliance program, ensuring all carriers adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Regularly auditing carrier compliance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
- Relationship Management :
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new carriers, fostering collaboration and trust.
- Providing excellent customer service to carriers, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Communicating regularly with carriers, providing updates on company news, changes, and industry trends.
- Participating in industry events and networking opportunities, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the transportation sector.
Our requirements
Multilingual skills minimum two of – Englisch / German / Italian / French / Spanish / Polish / LithuanianStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Negotiation and relationship-building skills.Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards.Experience in carrier development and onboarding.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in relevant software and systems.What we offer
