We are looking for an R&D Engineer for System Drives experienced with embedded software development and control theory to help us maintain our #1 global position.

As a member of the Research and Development (R&D) team based in Krakow, you will develop and implement control concepts for our portfolio of medium‑voltage drives.

The work model for the role is : hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop and productise control, modulation and estimation methods for power conversion systems, including linear and nonlinear control for Medium Voltage Drives.
• Design embedded real‑time software using modern C++.
• Involve in the entire software development life cycle : requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing, maintenance.
• Conduct product troubleshooting in the lab and in the field.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including physics, control algorithm design, software and system engineering.
• Lead relevant design and development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other people.
• Occasional international travel to R&D centers or customer locations.
