For Digital Hub Warsaw, we are looking for :

Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Key Tasks & Responsibilities :

Show an advanced understanding of cloud technologies, cloud platform operations and cloud governance with a focus on automation, analysis, modification and testing of cloud services
Design, build, implement and maintain cloud automation in order to optimize cloud spend, identify and remediate security risks and safeguard compliance across cloud platforms
Identifies, verifies and remediates inconsistent cloud configurations
Implement proactive health checks and internal audits to ensure comprehensive and reliable monitoring coverage
Construct, improve and maintain automated deployment pipelines (CI / CD)
Usage of source code management tool (e.g. GitHub) to manage code lifecycle
Perform troubleshooting, resolution, and problem analysis
Prepare technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals
Seek opportunities to discover new and better solutions.
Communicates basic cloud concepts to technical audiences and management; technical issues and problems to vendors to solve cloud problems and install and test cloud component
Identify and pursue opportunities for self-improvement of technical and non-technical skills
Take the initiative to do what needs to be done without being asked
Articulate and advocate new cloud technical and non-technical ideas within the team

Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience) :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience as a software engineer

Minimum 4 years of experience in Azure (AWS, GCP will be a plus)

Strong proficiency in Python

Ability to use scripting languages and APIs to facilitate cloud automation

Experience with “Well-Architected Framework” principals, infrastructure as code practices (e.g. Terraform, ARM) and agile development methodologies

Working knowledge of DevOps and CI / CD principles and practices.

Inter-cultural understanding and experience

Containerization and container runtime orchestrators : using e.g. Kubernetes

Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
