Your responsibilities

• understanding business requirements and evaluating testability
• designing, creating and updating manual test cases based on in-depth technical analysis of functional specifications
• running manual and automated tests and record results using agreed standards, covering new functionality as well as regression (incl. non-functional tests)
• creating effective test plans and traceability matrix from test cases back to requirements
• specifying requirements for environments, data, resources and tools, and monitoring the current state to ensure effective test coverage
• performing peer reviews of test cases
• reporting defects, working with developers on their resolution and following up on bug closures
• supporting the tracking of test KPIs and metrics following our testing standards
• providing reports on test progress and collecting metrics on test cases and defects
• taking part in daily test planning, including estimation and prioritization
• supporting business representatives in performing UAT
• identifying automation opportunities within the project and selecting suitable test cases for automation
• designing and building test automation solutions for functional tests
• developing and executing automated tests in assigned areas / projects

About the role

As a QA Engineer, you would be responsible for analysing, creating and executing functional and non-functional tests at all phases and levels of testing, as well as implementing appropriate test automation solutions.
