We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HR generalist to join our growing team of HR Regional Partners in Romania, based in Bucharest. Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to HRBPs and Business Leaders on change management initiatives.
- Manage performance processes, both informal and formal.
- Address complex and sensitive employee issues, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Facilitate development sessions focused on building manager effectiveness and capability.
- Support Employee Relations cases, including relationships with Workers Councils and labor inspections (strong knowledge of German labor law is mandatory for this role).
- Identify training opportunities to develop functional and leadership skills.
- Support Leaders with career conversations and career growth plans.
About the role and environment
Amazon HR Regional Partners (HRPs) in the EMEA region act as consultants to more than 4,000 people managers, based across 20 different countries. They operate autonomously, delivering high-judgement guidance to enable an exceptional customer and employee experience. The HRP team standardizes best practices across EMEA and uses data-driven insights to inform decisions and initiatives.
Location
The role can be based in Bucharest, Romania or Gdansk, Poland.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations or a related fieldExtensive HR generalist work experienceStrong knowledge of Polish and / or Romanian employment lawFluent in Polish and / or Romanian and EnglishStrong HR acumen, including problem-solving, critical thinking and analysisExperience working in a matrix organizationExcellent ability to deliver results both independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications
Proven track record in international, fast-paced, customer-driven environmentsAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines, and optimize resourcesProject management skills with data-driven influencing capabilitiesExperience managing Works CouncilsCompany and Equal Opportunity
