Lead Engineer – Subsea Manifolds Systems is responsible for design and development of manifolds as part of programs, tenders or projects.

Responsibilities

  • Creating parts, assemblies and drawings with Creo CAD software
  • Creating models and drawing packages from concept to fabrication stage
  • Being part of a design team within manifold system projects
  • Working with other engineers and management to develop design concepts
  • Contributing to the team effort to meet project milestones and needs
  • Considering safety, quality, cost and manufacturability in designs
  • Establishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards
  • Leading and contributing to design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule
  • Working cross-functionally with other engineers and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables
  • Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when relevant
  • Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with applicable technical and contractual requirements
  • Providing engineering support to program management
  • Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products
  • Have master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Be an expert in 3D CAD modelling
  • Have robust mechanical design background
  • Be proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility
  • Have good oral and written communication skills, fluent in English
  • Be proactive and results oriented
  • Have subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies
