Summary
This role is part of A2R GPO organization and is essential in ensuring improving compliance with INTRASTAT regulations.
The role requires understanding of complex INTRASTAT and VAT and accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills and strong collaboration with other finance and non-finance teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the Global A2R team, the selected candidate will be mainly responsible for an End-to-End process review for INTRASTAT, in collaboration with the VAT Team :
Improve and ensure compliance with INTRASTAT requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate filings of INTRASTAT, as well as impact on VAT related reporting.
Support INTRASTAT related to internal and external audits and, if necessary, work with the regional tax team on preparing audit defense strategy.
Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
Support local, regional, and global projects, as required; provide financial expertise in such projects.
Be an advocate of finance function and maintain focus on continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience with proven experience in a multinational environment and / or audit and indirect taxes.
Solid understanding of US GAAP.
Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set.
Proficient in both written and spoken English is a requirement!
Strong reporting tools knowledge including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Education and / or Experience
Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent experience in ACCA / CIMA qualifications.
Experience in JDE is an advantage.
