For our client, a globally operating manufacturing company in a phase of intensive growth, we are seeking an Accounting Manager.

Scope of responsibilities : We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function at an international manufacturing company. This position is responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, accounts payable / receivable, fixed assets, and financial reporting, ensuring full compliance with internal and external standards. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and strong leadership, along with a proactive, change-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting
Lead a local accounting team and support their development
Drive process improvement, cost efficiency, and automation
Collaborate with HQ on financial systems and internal control frameworks
Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate regulations (US GAAP, SOX)

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (certification is a plus)

Min. 10 years’ experience, incl. 5 years in a leadership role

Proven managerial effectiveness.

Experience working in an international matrix reporting environment (desirable).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Hands-on knowledge of accounting systems and tools

Fluent English (written and spoken) required
