IT System Analyst / Application Support Specialist

We are seeking an analytically minded and proactive IT System Analyst / Application Support Specialist to join our team responsible for maintaining and enhancing core banking applications. This role combines business analysis, application monitoring, and technical troubleshooting in a dynamic financial services environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and IT teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements.

Monitor application performance and handle incident resolution.

Administer and support Windows-based application environments.

Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation purposes.

Troubleshoot application issues and support problem management.

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in agile teams.

Prepare documentation and analytical reports.

Requirements :

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. Application Support, System Analyst, IT Business Analyst).

Strong interest in financial systems and core banking environments.

Technical Skills (required) :

Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL (queries and scripts).

Experience with Windows Server administration.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.

Application monitoring and operational support experience.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Technical Skills (nice to have) :

Familiarity with Helix and Confluence.

Basic understanding of IBM MQ.

Exposure to Kubernetes or ESP environments.

ITIL Foundation certification.

Experience in the banking or financial industry.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment.

Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
