About the Company (our client) :
Our client is part of a European logistics group operating in 12 countries. In Poland, they run two entities – a modern operations hub and a traditional customs agency.
Right now, the company is undergoing a digital transformation, streamlining systems and improving IT infrastructure.
They’re looking for an IT Manager to lead a small team (3–5 people), ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, and support the next stage of tech development.
The team is collaborative, open to change, and works in an international environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a small IT support team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, and systems – ensuring stability, performance, and security
- Act as an escalation point for complex IT issues, providing hands-on support when needed
- Plan and implement IT upgrades, improvements, and security measures
- Coordinate IT projects in alignment with business needs and timelines
- Collaborate with internal departments to support technology requirements
- Manage IT assets, licenses, and relationships with external vendors
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and industry best practices
- Coach, train, and manage performance within the IT team
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an IT Manager, IT Team Lead, or similar leadership roleStrong technical background in IT support, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurityExperience managing small teams, including task delegation and performance trackingHands-on problem-solving skills with both hardware and softwareExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectivelyFluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plusFamiliarity with ITIL or IT service management is an advantageBenefits :
