About the Company (our client) :

Our client is part of a European logistics group operating in 12 countries. In Poland, they run two entities – a modern operations hub and a traditional customs agency.

Right now, the company is undergoing a digital transformation, streamlining systems and improving IT infrastructure.

They’re looking for an IT Manager to lead a small team (3–5 people), ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, and support the next stage of tech development.

The team is collaborative, open to change, and works in an international environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a small IT support team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, and systems – ensuring stability, performance, and security
  • Act as an escalation point for complex IT issues, providing hands-on support when needed
  • Plan and implement IT upgrades, improvements, and security measures
  • Coordinate IT projects in alignment with business needs and timelines
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support technology requirements
  • Manage IT assets, licenses, and relationships with external vendors
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and industry best practices
  • Coach, train, and manage performance within the IT team

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager, IT Team Lead, or similar leadership role
  • Strong technical background in IT support, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity
  • Experience managing small teams, including task delegation and performance tracking
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills with both hardware and software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
  • Familiarity with ITIL or IT service management is an advantage
