Technical Lead – .NET / Azure

I'm working with a global leader in the maritime sector who are building and modernizing digital solutions that power critical international trade and energy markets. This is a chance to step into a Tech Lead role (or a Senior Developer ready to make that leap) where you'll influence architecture, drive technical excellence, and play a key part in shaping engineering culture.

You'll join an international team, working on both modern greenfield systems and deeply embedded legacy platforms—helping bridge the gap with scalable, reliable, and future-proof solutions.

What You'll Do

Lead by example : design, code, test, and release features while setting engineering best practices.
Shape the technical roadmap : collaborate with product and engineering leadership to drive long-term sustainability.
Modernize legacy systems : reduce technical debt and improve performance, reliability, and developer experience.
Balance delivery with foundational improvements : from observability to CI / CD practices.
Work in an Agile, English-speaking environment with teammates from across the globe.

What You Bring

Strong background in the .NET ecosystem (C#, frameworks, tooling).

Solid understanding of system design, CI / CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL), schema design, and query optimization.

Practical experience with Azure cloud services.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction.

A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, able to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Some exposure to frontend frameworks.

Bonus Points

Experience with on-prem & hybrid environments.

Knowledge of application security principles.

Previous mentoring / coaching experience.

Hands-on experience modernizing monolithic or legacy systems.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
