JOB TITLE Carrier Manager (Eastern European Region)

SHIFTS Monday - Friday (39 hours between 08 : 30AM - 17 : 00PM)

With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe, we are looking for a European Carrier Manager with focus on Eastern Europe to play a major role in our Freight Services team. You'll be the key contact for our carrier partners in the region — developing strategic relationships, expanding capacity, supporting RFQ management, and improving service reliability. This role directly supports GBA's ambitious goals around network expansion, digital transformation, and sustainable logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrier Relationship Management & Compliance
• Develop and manage long-term relationships with key FTL carriers across Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Benelux and Romania.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with key carriers on a quarterly basis.
• Organise regular on-site visits and quarterly performance reviews.
• Contract implementation and management with carriers.
• Collaborate with IT and procurement analysts to support operational and sales teams in revenue-related activities.
• RFQ Pipeline & Pricing Strategy
• Lead RFQ participation and capacity sourcing for regional tenders.
• Increase pricing accuracy and competitiveness while reducing RFQ turnaround time through data-informed sourcing and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal GBA depots to implement a regional pricing and tariff-based framework.
• Promote and increase participation in GBA's Responsible Supplier Award across Eastern European carriers.
• Contribute to Scope 3 emission reductions through partner engagement in intermodal and alternative fuel solutions.
