    • about-project :

  • The Network Engineer, as a member of the global network operation team is responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support for the global network infrastructure, operations of internal ICT systems including LAN, WLAN, WAN and Firewall technologies, implementing network systems, including configurations, supporting, and troubleshooting network issues.

    • responsibilities :

  • Implementing of global corporate standards and guidelines for LAN / WLAN and WAN networks
  • Full management of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and associated monitoring systems
  • Identify, research, and resolve 2nd & 3rd level technical support problems related to the Local Area Networks, Wireless LANs, Firewalls and Wide Area Networks
  • Continuously optimizing the network infrastructure relating to performance, reliability, security, and cost
  • Maintaining, optimizing and developing network services in close cooperation with internal & external service providers
  • Continuous monitoring of the network infrastructure
  • Support global and local projects and demands with all network related topics

    • requirements-expected :

  • 5 years of experience in managing enterprise networks
  • Graduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunication Services, or similar
  • Fundamental knowledge of TCP / IP
  • Practical experience with network technologies from HPE Aruba, Fortinet and Cisco in following areas :
  • Routing
  • Switching
  • Firewalls
  • Wireless LAN
  • SD-WAN
  • Experience with NAC solutions would be desirable
  • Knowledge with network monitoring tools, e.g. ZABBIX, PRTG, Solarwinds
  • English (B1, B2 or higher)
  • German language will be beneficial
