AWS DevOps Engineer - Ireland

NUWAVE POSITION SUMMARY

NUWAVE is seeking a technically strong and commercially aware AWS DevOps Engineer to join our global infrastructure team. This role is remote but limited to candidates based in Ireland and combines deep AWS networking expertise with pre-sales and quoting support responsibilities.

In addition to managing scalable, secure AWS networking environments (e.g., Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, CloudWAN, BGP ), this role will work closely with our Sales and Product teams to support and help quote both physical interconnects (NNIs / Direct Connects) and AWS Direct Connect services .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

Design and maintain AWS cloud networking architectures : VPCs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, CloudWAN, BGP routing

SALES ENGINEERING SUPPORT

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Some on-call work (weekends / holidays) may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience working with quoting systems or product management tools is a plus.

EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO COMPLETE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Desktop equipment : appropriate for remote work; Mobile Phone and Computer / Laptop (supplied) are required; reliable Internet connection is required.
