Conduct comprehensive reviews of both General Ledger and subsidiary accounts, identifying potential discrepancies and suggesting suitable accounting solutions.
Support the monthly financial close by entering agreed-upon data in the General Ledger, producing relevant reports, and overseeing data integrity.
Oversee specified financial operations, ensuring precise product system postings, responding to adjustments from different departments, verifying interface reliability, and recording all transactions accurately.
Collaborate extensively with various teams across Poland and internationally (Actuarial, IT, Reporting, Controlling, Operations, Banking) to efficiently resolve any arising challenges.
Contribute to initiatives executed by the Technical Accounting Team, driving innovation and facilitating seamless collaboration within the organization.
Suggest and implement process improvements, regularly assessing existing procedures to enhance operational quality and consistency.

Advanced English proficiency (both spoken and written)
Proven background in Accounting or Reporting
Familiarity with insurance accounting principles and a working knowledge of international accounting and reporting standards (IFRS)
Strong analytical mindset, including the capacity to pinpoint challenges, devise solutions, and implement improvements
Extensive experience with MS Excel
Exposure to Oracle, SQL, Business Objects, or Power BI is an advantage
Comfortable collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, service providers)
