Project description 📝

Bingel DC platform is the adaptive all-round platform for primary education where teachers and pupils are central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal : getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing. Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands love Bingel as their gamified learning platform for every-day use. Their personal avatar joins them while they’re learning and adapted practicing, with which they earn virtual money that can be used for buying avatar accessories or games.

About the role :

As a Senior Manual Tester, you will be part of one of our fantastic Scrum teams working on the Bingel DC platform. Key responsibilities include :

• Design and execute test scenarios and test cases using TestRail
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
• Report, track, and verify issues using Jira
• Support testing across different environments (e.g., staging, production)
• Take part in planning, refinement, and review meetings

Must-have requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

4+ years of commercial experience in manual testing

Hands-on experience with Jira, Slack, and browser DevTools

Proven experience conducting both back-end and front-end testing

Experience working with at least one NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Self-driven, well-organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-player mindset

English proficiency at B2 / C1 level (both written and spoken)

Nice-to-Have Requirements

Basic understanding of AWS Cloud services

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals

Experience with Postman or similar tool
