Job Title : IT Governance Manager
Purpose :
This regulatory role is essential for ensuring adherence to ECB regulations on IT governance matters. The IT Governance Service Manager will be responsible for managing and reporting on over 25 committees, handling regulatory issues and findings, and overseeing compliancy with regulations and related policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Committee Management and Reporting : Oversee and report on the activities of more than 25 committees, ensuring compliance with ECB regulations and internal governance standards.
- Policy and Procedure Oversight : Develop, review, and enforce IT governance policies and procedures to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Issues Management : Address and resolve issues or regulatory findings maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely resolution.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in law, risk management, policies, or a technical discipline, and / or demonstrable experience within a similar role.Regulatory Knowledge : Understanding of ECB regulations and their application to IT governance.Leadership : Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple committees and drive compliance initiatives.Communication : Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders. Experience with drafting or reviewing policies and procedures for IT or financial services organizations is also required.Other Requirements :
Proven track record of successfully managing IT governance activities in a regulated environment.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external regulatory bodies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.State Street's Speak Up Line
