Job description

Ring is looking for a talented and motivated Hardware Development (EE) Engineer (BS minimum) to join our Product Design Team. In this role you will be responsible for adapting the System-on-Chip (SoC) platform to the specific device being designed. Your tasks will include conducting feasibility studies from an electrical engineering perspective, cross-functional interaction, basic firmware engineering, and subsystem integration.

As a successful candidate, you must show strong analytical and communication skills, be ready to drive, analyze and dive deep into the all sections of hardware design. Ambiguity during development should not make you uncomfortable.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop schematic and layout for electronic subsystems
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Partner with Product Management teams on product requirements
  • Take part in the prototype creation
  • Clearly and concisely express and document ideas, issues, test results and so on
  • Develop design documentation

  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive experience within industrial or commercial electronics design
  • Knowledge of processors architecture, digital circuit design and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S etc.
  • Knowledge of power electronics (AC-DC / DC-DC) design
  • Understanding of high-speed design and noise suppression techniques
  • Electronic prototyping skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in an Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with RF design
  • Strong experience with Altium Designer and Altium 365 tools
