Job description
Our casual games team in Krakow is seeking a highly skilled UI artist / designer to join their team and take charge of designing the user interface for our current and upcoming games. The responsibilities will include :
- Craft and maintain the UI Art style of the game
- Design wireframes and prototypes, create final screens and UI Art, then integrate and animate everything in Unity
- Quickly iterate to find new UI solutions that better serve the players’ needs.
It’s a full-time position located in our office in Cracow, Poland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers;Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps;Design graphic user interfaces elements, like menus, screens, and widgets;Build app navigation buttons;Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the app function and look;Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables);Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders;Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness);Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback;Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.Job requirements
Great knowledge of Interaction Design, Interface Design, and Graphic Design principles for mobile gamesProficiency with 2D tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Creative SuiteProficiency with UI prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or relevantGood knowledge of Unity integration (UI Layout components, prefabs, etc.)Expertise in creating UI animationInterest in Game DesignUnderstanding of the free-to-play gaming market and KPIs, with a data-driven approach when it comes to decision-makingDeep collaboration mindset, including excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive mindset toward receiving, acting on, and giving feedbackAccountability, independence, and responsibility when given ownership over your workKnowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies (welcome)Knowledge of the mobile f2P games industry (welcome)and we offer :
