Overview
AP Senior Team Manager role at Boehringer Ingelheim. You will lead the GBS Center AP function and manage end-to-end accounts payable activities within assigned business unit(s) with differing priorities and cultures. This role involves expanding AP services to new stakeholders in the EMEA region and improving ways of working.
Responsibilities
- As the AP Senior Team Manager, lead the workstream for European markets with up to 10 direct reports, including Team Managers, aligned with the company’s Behaviors, Leadership principles, and Global Recruiting Delivery Model, while complying with internal and external regulations.
- Oversee and monitor the teams and overall AP processes for all service-receiving countries, using the weGrow approach.
- Integrate countries and services into GBSC and ensure / manage smooth transition, service delivery, and harmonization of processes across sub-teams.
- Prepare the team and end-users for Go-live of new countries and potential new processes, with stabilization after deployment and support for change management post-Go-live.
- Identify and validate local business needs and foster identification of opportunities for innovation.
- Work on projects in an environment that uses targets to measure service quality, ensuring process adherence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Verified knowledge in end-to-end AP processing; English proficiency at C1 level or higher; minimum 8 years of professional experience in a Source to Pay Shared Services environment; minimum 5 years of leadership experience.Completed higher education preferably in Finance / Business Administration or related field.Excellent understanding of end-to-end S2P processes with focus on AP.Strong empathy, team spirit, accountability, intrapreneurship, and a high service orientation with a continuous improvement mindset.Proven problem-solving ability to manage complex / sensitive situations and implement solutions with engagement across organizational levels.Excellent communication skills; high customer service orientation and open mindset.Excellent analytical skills, strategic mindset, and ability to prioritize; able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Preferably experience with SAP, Invoice Track, ServiceNow, MS Office (advanced Excel).About Boehringer Ingelheim
