We are now looking for passionate individuals to join our growing team at the Hitachi Energy Technology Center in Krakow. You will contribute to the heart of HVDC stations : the Modular Advanced Control for HVDC (MACH™) system – a control system designed to operate 24 / 7 for over thirty years, managing all control and protection functions.
As part of our global R&D organization, you will collaborate daily with MACH™ teams in Sweden and India, working within the same Agile framework (SAFe) to develop end-to-end solutions that integrate electronic hardware, FPGA, and embedded software.

,[ Participate in the full lifecycle of hardware platforms for HVDC Control & Protection systems – from concept, requirements, simulations, prototyping, and testing to release and production support. , Design robust analogue / digital electronics, including high-speed circuits, optoelectronics, gate drivers, and power electronics. , Create conceptual designs based on initial requirements and influence technology choices with your expertise. , Work with simulations, component selection, schematics, and PCB layout. , Prototype, verify, and validate designs; manage test infrastructure and setups. , Prepare and maintain technical documentation. , Lead technical reviews and contribute to project planning. , Drive improvements in processes and tools. , Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business. ] Requirements : R, SAFe, FPGA, Prototyping, Testing, PCB, Degree, Design process, Altium, risk management
