Role Overview

As we continue to develop an innovative data platform designed to revolutionize customer experiences for prestigious brands including Gucci, Levi’s, Starbucks, and Marriott Hotels & Resorts, we seek to enlist a dynamic Senior Analytics Engineer in Poland (Warsaw based). This role is pivotal for individuals who are keen on contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable and resilient data pipelines, reports, and dashboards, as part of our ongoing analytics evolution.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play an essential role in executing our data strategy and roadmap, leading the delivery of one or more key analytics projects, and working closely with and mentoring junior team members. This position demands hands‑on involvement in designing and implementing sophisticated analytics solutions using tools like dbt, Snowflake. Excellent English communication skills are required for effective collaboration within our international team.

What You Will Do

• Contribute to the technical aspects of the Analytics Engineering function, focusing on hands‑on development, enhancement, and maintenance of data models and ELT processes within a data mesh architecture using Python for data pipeline development and automation, following best practices with dbt and Snowflake.
• Play a pivotal role in the delivery of key analytics projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively, meeting project timelines and objectives.
• Emphasize the importance of data quality and governance in your project work, contributing to the organizational data model's integrity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with global teams, leveraging your English communication skills to understand project requirements and contribute to the creation of scalable, modular data products that support our strategic goals.
• Mentor and work closely with more junior individual contributors (ICs), sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their growth and development within the team.
• Participate in the monitoring, optimization, and innovation of data pipelines in dbt and Snowflake, aiming for cost‑efficiency and alignment with business needs for data timeliness.
• Support the development and adherence to data governance policies, focusing on data quality, lineage, and metadata management to uphold the data assets' integrity and reliability.
