Associate Buyer

Location : Leszno / Madrid / Casablanca

Hybrid

Purpose of Role

We are hiring an Associate Buyer to join our Procurement team, responsible for procurement of direct materials for WME across our global network. This is a development opportunity in a fast-paced environment for a professional to develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve overall supply base effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain commercial information on SAP system.
  • Develop stocking policies with the supply base and implement best practice delivery systems through SAP.
  • Help develop procurement strategies for direct spend.
  • Safety First : Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors supporting a world-class safety culture.

    • Job Knowledge, Education, and Qualifications

  • Demonstrable track record in a Supply Chain environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
  • SAP (or similar MRP system) skills are desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
