Your combined professional technical, commercial and project management skills are precisely what we are looking for to be successful working together with our external operations managers, relevant stakeholders and other Ingka co-workers to oversee our international portfolio of wind and solar PV investments safely and effectively.

Additionally, you have the following :

  • a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in renewable energy asset management, preferably onshore wind and / or solar PV,
  • experience of working with manufacturers and service providers in the renewables industry,
  • a degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar,
  • strong multi-disciplinary project management skills,
  • very good knowledge of renewable energy market,
  • broad understanding of managing contracts,
  • outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and make decisions,
  • problem solving, highly proactive, collaborative and organized,
  • excellent multitasking abilities with a strong capability to prioritize and provide clear directions,
  • solid networking skills with the aptitude to build strong relationships both within and outside of the organization,
  • fluent English and Polish communication skills,
  • flexibility to travel internationally (occasionally).

ABOUT THE JOB :

Since 2009 Ingka Group has invested in renewable energy projects working towards our goal to consume 100% renewable electricity in 2025 and to being climate positive in 2030. We now own and operate over 40 wind and solar PV projects across 13 countries overseen at a portfolio level by a small team based in the Ingka head office in The Netherlands. You will be part of this team within ‘Ingka Investments’, one of our core business areas alongside IKEA Retail and Ingka Centres.

On a day-to-day basis, as Renewable Energy Asset Manager you will be the main contact for one or more regions, where you will :

  • maintain working relationships with external operational managers and other relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe and smooth operations,
  • provide an overview of and assist in dealing with technical, contractual, legal, insurance and health & safety issues relating to the renewable energy projects,
  • create and maintain links with key technology suppliers, developers, and external consultants,
  • proposing and leading optimization initiatives in selected areas, monitoring their impact,
  • writing internal procedures / guidelines, participating in the development of new tools,
  • periodic site visits and meetings with relevant stakeholders,
  • analysis and reporting of main KPIs,
  • analysis and reporting of technical and HSE incidents and implementation of action plans,
  • support the growth of the Ingka Group renewable energy investment portfolio (also outside of wind / solar energy) and assist Corporate Finance with activities when necessary.
