About the role

The Finance Business Partner - Separation will play a critical role in supporting the financial aspects of the Essential Home Divestiture during the transitional period. This position requires strong financial planning, analysis and cost management skills to ensure a smooth transition of business operations within agreed budgets.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead financial modelling and scenario planning to support separation strategy.
  • Develop and manage separation budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making during transition.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment across workstreams.
  • Track and report on separation-related financial risks and opportunities.
  • Support the design and implementation of new financial structures and processes.
  • Define principles of separation costs and educate the wider organization on these principles
  • Transitional budget enquiry handling / clarifications (against signed off principles)
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of separation-related financials.
  • Act as a key finance contact for internal and external stakeholders with regards to separation budgets.

The experience we're looking for

  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Ideally with experience in finance roles within large-scale transformation or separation projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance.
  • Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
