As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring a strong foundation in reliable infrastructure. You will create domain-oriented data products utilizing tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Confluent Kafka, while implementing modern DevOps practices, including CI / CD, to drive efficient data integration and delivery.

Your responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing ETL / ELT processes for efficient and reliable data flows
  • Collecting data from various sources, including databases, APIs, external providers, and streaming platforms for IoT solutions
  • Implementing tests, quality controls, and performance tuning to ensure data accuracy and addressing pipeline issues
  • Partnering with data scientists and analysts to provide clean data for analytics and AI, understanding and meeting their data needs
  • Supporting the design of security standards, monitoring data products, writing tests and documentation, and communicating errors to the business
  • Staying current with emerging data engineering trends and practices to continually improve data capabilities and infrastructure

Our requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a solid background in data pipeline development
  • Proficiency in data modelling, ETL / ELT processes
  • Experience with using Snowflake and DBT is beneficial
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (preferred cloud is Azure)
  • Proficient in programming languages like Python and SQL for data processing
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills, and high level of responsibility for handling both individual assignments and team efforts
