Remote : This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere within Poland.

YOUR ROLE

As a Platform Engineer at Cognism, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our high‑scale development and deployment environment. Working as part of a small but mighty Platform team, your expertise will be instrumental in driving performance, scalability, and developer efficiency across the business.

YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES

Design Resilient Systems – Architect and maintain secure, scalable, and observable infrastructure to support Cognism’s growing platform needs.

Streamline Deployments – Build and manage infrastructure‑as‑code to enable fast, standardized, and reliable deployments across teams.

Advance CI / CD Pipelines – Evolve and maintain CI / CD systems that minimize downtime and maximize deployment speed and consistency.

Boost Developer Experience – Create tooling and automation to reduce friction in development workflows and accelerate delivery.

Foster Collaboration – Work cross‑functionally with Security, Data, ML, and Product teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with both technical and business goals.

Lead Incident Readiness – Own systems post‑deployment, driving observability, failover planning, and incident response.

Drive Continuous Improvement – Participate in architecture discussions, retrospectives, and planning to improve infrastructure processes and resilience.

Champion Documentation – Create and maintain documentation and post‑incident reviews to support shared learning and onboarding.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

Cloud Expertise – 3+ years experience managing production systems on AWS (experience with Azure and AliCloud a bonus).

Container Orchestration – 2+ years using Kubernetes in production environments.

Infrastructure as Code – 3+ years experience with Terraform and GitOps workflows.

Observability First – Proficient with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, Loki, or similar tools.

System‑Level Thinking – Analytical mindset with the ability to consider the whole system, not just the task at hand.

Automation & Scripting – Solid command of Linux and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).

CI / CD Familiarity – Experience with Github Actions, ArgoCD, or similar tools.

Strong Communicator – Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Certifications Welcome – AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications are a plus, but not required.

• Proficiency in coding with Python or Golang

Databases – A mix of SQL and NoSQL technologies

Cloud Services – VPC, EC2, ELB, S3 (and equivalents across clouds)

Observability – Prometheus, Loki, OTEL, Coralogix, Thanos
