Job descriptionDesigning and implementing scalable Java-based backend solutions. Optimizing AWS infrastructure based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Managing and improving monitoring systems using centralized CloudWatch alarms. Leading and coordinating a small distributed development team. Communicating regularly with the German client to align technical goals. Implementing secure and automated deployment pipelines using AWS CDK. Identifying and executing cost optimization strategies (e.g., rightsizing, Aurora Serverless).

- Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in Java development.
- Proven expertise in AWS cloud-native architectures and infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in German at C1 level - essential for client communication.
- Proficiency in English at C1 level - required for team collaboration.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills in distributed team environments.
- Experience with security best practices in AWS (e.g., IAM, SSM Secure Strings).
- Availability to start by June 2nd and commit for at least 6 months.
- 100% remote work (working on own equipment)
