Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Hematology
Job location : Warsaw, Masovian, Poland (North / West part of Poland – Poznan, Wroclaw, Szczecin). Base location : North / West part of Poland. Full‑time position. Employer : Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
Overall purpose of the job is to be a therapeutic area (TA) scientific expert, responsible for discussing our products, patient treatment trends, and studies within the TA, on a peer‑to‑peer basis with Leading Specialists, and be considered the trusted scientific partner and face of Janssen.
Territory and Base Location
Territory to cover : North / West part of Poland (incl. Poznan, Wroclaw, Szczecin). Base location : North / West part of Poland.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Continuously update knowledge of products, patient treatment trends and clinical studies within the TA and region.
- Identify evolving scientific concepts with potential clinical implications.
- Develop and maintain a network of local Leading Specialists (LS) through face‑to‑face meetings, congresses, scientific meetings, and Medical Education events.
- Understand LS needs, key value drivers, practical treatment patterns, and scientific activities within the therapeutic area.
- Execute an external stakeholder management plan in coordination with MAF, HEMAR, Commercial functions.
- Communicate the value of company products and contribute to market access activities and formulary discussions.
- Champion medical value of products based on risk‑benefit profile and support innovative therapeutic approaches.
- Collect medical insights and provide feedback to strategic TA & Medical teams.
- Recognise and nurture relationships with rising members of the scientific community.
- Proactively communicate scientific information on products within approved label.
- Provide non‑promotional general information about company pipeline, R&D programs, and other relevant information.
- Respond to unsolicited scientific queries from customers for approved products and indications in development.
- Use digital technologies and new media to support communication.
- Execute tactical MAF Plan and support / educate speakers for local Medical Education programs.
- Build local Medical Education programs with third parties.
- Provide medical and product training and scientific support to field‑based staff; act as reference for scientific queries.
- Support Medical Affairs clinical activities strategy, planning, design and execution in cooperation with GCO.
- Support follow‑up of registries and other non‑interventional studies, understand Real‑World Evidence (RWE) methodologies, assist protocol development, propose investigators and sites, manage investigator proposals, support post‑marketing surveillance programs and NPP's, and manage field‑based medical projects.
- Identify and address training needs among field‑based staff and deliver training.
Requirements
Educational background in pharmaceutical, medical or natural science university degree; Medical Doctor or equivalent.Experience in pharmaceutical industry of at least 2 years.Strong analytical, communication, presentation, influencing, project‑management and negotiation skills.Excellent communication skills in local language and English.Preferred Skills
