Role Summary

The Associate Director, Supply Chain Management will be the Global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Lead for Technology Solutions. Primarily, this person will be the owner and facilitator of the Regional and Executive S&OPs executed in collaboration with Demand Planning, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. This person will act as the liaison between commercial and supply stakeholders to ensure supply continuity over the 0-to-36-month horizon. Additionally, this person will support and facilitate rollout of critical business processes such as Integrated Demand Planning (IDP) and long-range capacity planning. Lastly, this person will aid his / her colleagues in developing the centralized production plan for the identification line of business.

Key Responsibilities

Owner of the global S&OP process

Coordinate creation of monthly S&OP presentation and lead meetings across the regions and lines of business

Work with demand planning and marketing to assure timely and accurate demand forecasting

Support Integrated Demand Planning (IDP) rollout throughout identification business

Confirm production plans are aligned with commercial requirements and work to identify gaps

Escalate and resolve supply gaps in collaboration with site and / or external supply

Drive accountability in closing action items stemming from S&OP

Implement process improvements to S&OP to assure appropriate flow of monthly meetings and review of necessary topics

E.g. Demand review, pre-S&OP, S&OP, Executive S&OP

Leverage existing demand and supply metrics to validate forecasts and supply plans are on track

Confirm accuracy and validity of calculations

Rollout new metrics if required by the needs of the business

Additionally, support creation of the global manufacturing production plan for the livestock identification

Process led by GSCM, but individual will become secondary point of contact for centralized production plan

Coordinate with various stakeholders to determine all critical inputs and outputs

Work with SMEs to help rollout existing capacity planning tool across the organization

Required Credentials :

Minimum 5 years in leading or supporting S&OP

Fluent in English

Preferred Credentials :

B.S. in Supply Chain Management

ASCM (APICS) Certification

5 to 10 years of supply planning experience

SAP and / or Aera experience

Proficient in Excel

Demonstrated ability to influence others

Strong cross-functional relationship skills

Primary Location

Strong preference for proximity to a EURAM Animal Health Technology Solutions manufacturing or commercial location.
