Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our client Airpay, supporting their growing engineering team in building reliable, compliant, and scalable infrastructure.

Airpay is an innovative fintech company focused on delivering seamless digital payment solutions. With a strong emphasis on security and compliance, Airpay supports clients in highly regulated sectors, including healthcare and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS.
Build, maintain, and improve Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Design and manage containerized environments using Docker.
Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth CI / CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance.
Ensure compliance and security standards are followed, particularly in healthcare-related contexts.
Support the team’s transition from a single-developer environment to a scalable DevOps practice.
Provide early-morning coverage for the US-based team.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong expertise with AWS, Terraform, and Docker containerization.

Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.

Knowledge of CI / CD tools and modern DevOps practices.

Familiarity with compliance requirements (HIPAA or healthcare domain experience is a plus).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of projects.

Excellent communication skills in English.
