We help companies thrive in the new AI-first era of business. Box is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

This job description reflects Box as the employer supporting Box’s products and core user experience team.

What You’ll Do

We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.

  • Champion the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Box’s web and mobile product experiences, ensuring consistency and seamlessness across platforms.
  • Manage and develop emerging product leaders, growing them into strong cross-functional strategic product leaders.
  • Evaluate and drive prioritization and trade-off decisions, considering inputs from customers, Marketing, Engineering, Design, Support, and other teams.
  • Partner closely with our Web and Mobile teams to ensure a unified experience across devices and leverage mobile-specific behaviors to drive engagement and retention.
  • Engage with our senior leadership team to develop longer-term strategy, planning, and product direction.
  • Be the resident expert on all things related to the Box web and mobile apps, continuously monitoring, measuring, and reporting on business and customer metrics, competitive dynamics, and evolving market innovations.
  • Gain deep understanding of our customers through direct contact, research, and insights to inform strategy and execution.

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of product management experience and 2+ years in people management, ideally in a fast-paced, consumer or enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Builder of people and teams : You take pride in growing PMs into confident, strategic leaders. You know how to coach, delegate, and create clarity so your team can operate with autonomy and purpose
  • Systems thinker : You see the full user journey web, mobile, and cross-platform touchpoints and connect them into a cohesive experience that feels simple no matter how complex the underlying platform is
  • Customer-obsessed : You build with empathy, grounding every decision in customer insights, data, and user research. You’re comfortable spending time with customers to uncover friction and opportunity
  • Execution-driven strategist : You balance long-term vision with a bias for shipping, learning, and iterating quickly. You know when to drive for precision and when to optimize for velocity
  • Collaborative and trusted partner : You’ve worked closely with engineering and design leadership, and know how to influence senior stakeholders through clarity, not volume
  • Curious about AI and emerging patterns : You understand how AI can make user experiences more personalized, efficient, and delightful and you’re eager to bring that to life at Box
  • Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week , with a focus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays . Your recruiter will share more about how we work and company culture during the hiring process.
