Senior Java & Data Engineer – Financial Markets

Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Java & Data Engineer with over 10 years of technical background, preferably in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking environments. This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the financial sector.

Responsibilities :

Design and develop robust, scalable Java applications tailored to financial and capital markets use cases

Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements

Work with complex Oracle database systems, including design, optimization, and performance tuning

Design and implement solutions using graph databases to model complex relationships and datasets

Ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution architecture planning

Requirements :

10+ years of technical experience in software development and data engineering

Proven expertise in Java programming , with strong coding and debugging skills

Solid background in Data Engineering , including data warehousing and ETL pipelines

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Oracle databases

Familiarity with graph database technologies (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph, or similar)

Experience in financial services or capital markets is strongly preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams

Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
