about-project :
As a Data Scientist within the Data Science team (IT department), you will actively contribute to a highly strategic project at Geopost : building the Digital Twin of operations. You will strengthen a team of young and talented data scientists, data engineers, and developers. You will also be frequently in contact with the business. Your impact will be decisive for this high-stakes, long-term project
responsibilities :
Analyze data & business needs
Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies
Find out innovative ways to reach complex goals with limited resources
Contribute to the framing of projects with Business and IT stakeholders
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure to minimize downtime and resolve issues quickly
Support users during rollouts to facilitate services adoption
Extract, analyze and transform data
Develop and maintain state-of-the-Art algorithms to contribute to the digital twin of Geopost Operations : to modelize, detect, store, simulate, predict and optimize behaviors of parcels, linehauls, depots, etc.
Ensure reliability and scalability of developments
Develop, deploy and monitor reliable digital services capable of scaling up
Contribute to finding the most relevant technical solutions in terms of storage, distributed processing, modeling, etc.
Actively participate in the life of the Data Science team in a spirit of transparency, solidarity and excellence
Collaborate with other IT teams to enforce good relationships and best practices
Document technical solutions, workflows, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding
Present the results to Geopost management and to the Group's various IT and business stakeholders
requirements-expected :
5+ years of experience in data science
Knowledge & experience in solving optimization problem, especially in MILP
