About the project

We’re shaping the future of embedded finance and digital banking by delivering secure, cutting-edge solutions for mobile and web platforms. To keep scaling safely, we’re looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our growing security team.

This role is a great opportunity for someone passionate about building secure products from the ground up while working closely with engineering teams across the business.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure products and services are built with secure-by-design principles
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security into SDLC
  • Lead threat modelling and implement automated security testing in pipelines
  • Identify and address application vulnerabilities, ensuring alignment with risk policies
  • Provide clear reporting on application security posture to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with architects and other security professionals to share knowledge
  • Drive new initiatives and experiment with emerging tools and technologies

    • Our requirements

  • Solid experience in application security and secure development practices
  • Proven track record working alongside engineers to deliver secure solutions
  • Experience implementing security champion programs
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability management and security testing practices
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in agile, DevOps-driven, and empowered product environments

  • Prior hands-on development experience (Java or mobile preferred)
  • Experience with application security in regulated sectors (e.g. banking, fintech)
  • Experience working with multiple engineering squads simultaneously
