Associate System Engineer – Industrial IT

We are looking for an Associate System Engineer for our Industrial IT team in Lodz. The role focuses on installations, migrations, and maintenance of industrial server-client platforms, networking, security, mobility, support, and consultancy in close cooperation with the MOM and MCS departments.

Responsibilities

  • Support all ICT aspects of projects delivered and report to the project manager.
  • Contribute to the standardisation of ICT component selection, configuration, and documentation.
  • Take into account performance, compatibility and security (ISA-99) in all solutions.
  • Advise the sales department in putting together project‑related ICT systems.
  • Set up and hand over ICT systems to the project manager.
  • Configure server, OS, network, client, and software components.
  • Ensure correct documentation of delivered systems.
  • Provide ICT support on the delivered systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science (Electronics‑ICT, Applied Computer Science, …) or equivalent through experience.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to meet deadlines by structuring work independently.
  • Problem‑solving and proactive approach to projects.
  • Analytical and critical thinking.
  • Assertive, communicative and customer‑oriented.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Possession of a driver’s licence.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • Strong interest and / or knowledge of Dell and HPE servers and storage, virtualisation with VMware, Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure.
