Risk & Capital Management Team Member with German

On behalf of our client – a leading consulting firm in the financial services sector, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Risk & Capital Management Team Member with German.

Your responsibilities

Work on projects for leading German banks and financial institutions, gaining hands-on experience in risk management.

Build expertise in risk assessment, ESG risks, and regulatory compliance.

Support capital management initiatives, including capital optimization and advanced risk metrics.

Develop analytical tools for risk-weighted asset calculations, reporting automation, and capital allocation.

Collaborate with international teams, expanding your network and learning from experienced professionals.

Strengthen technical skills using risk management software, programming (SQL, Python, R, SAS), and data analytics.

Work in an environment that encourages curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning.

Enjoy flexible work arrangements and occasional trips to Germany for international exposure.

Employer requirements

Fluent in German and English (minimum B2).

Experience in financial services or consulting, ideally with exposure to German institutions.

Understanding of European banking regulations.

Degree (completed or near completion) in finance, business law, econometrics, or other quantitative / analytical fields.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Proactive, organized, and quality-focused work style.

Open and effective communication skills.

Strong motivation to learn and collaborate with international teams.

Nice to have :

Programming skills (SQL, Python, R, SAS, C).

Knowledge of CRR / CRD regulations and EBA guidelines.
