Your Responsibilities :
Evaluate the compliance of our products regarding the relevant legislation, prepare, and issue statements about the compliance to our customers (includes mainly legislations in the regions EU, NA, Mercosur, China).
Key focus is on food contact material legislation, but also other legislative areas must sometimes be covered (chemical legislation, cosmetic, drugs, various lists of substances of concern).
Evaluate the direct food contact material status of raw material and FG products. Keep a list of raw materials for direct food contact applications for EU, NA and Chinese legislation and the list of relevant products with DFC status for these regions.
Cooperation with the Material and Production Master Data team to keep the information updated.
Issue the relevant documents (Statement of Composition, Full Disclosure reports, Hygienic Certificate and various other statements).
Document the requests and responses in our Global Regulatory Customer Compliance Request (GRCCR) database.
Evaluate and approve raw materials prior to their introduction in lab testing or production according our Global Raw Material Compliance program (GRMC).
Support the technical, field service and sales teams regards chemical and food contact material legislation especially during the product development.
Perform internal training for technical, field service and sales teams regards chemical and food contact material legislation.
Present Flint Group in national (potentially : EU wide) associations, such as AVISA, Federchimica.
Our Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in a science discipline preferred.
Previous experience in a Regulatory role.
At least basic knowledge of the key chemical and food contact material legislations (REACh, ECHA database, Framework Regulations (EC) NO 1935 / 2004, Plastic Regulation (EU) no 10 / 2011, Swiss Ordinance SR 817.023.21).
To be able to read and understand SDS and TDS of raw materials.
Italian and English (business fluent)
Excellent skills in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
SAP and Atrion background (a plus).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
