Senior DevOps Engineer – HashiCorp Vault @ Bayer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer!

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a part of Bayer’s Customer Engagement Team. You will work on improving our "System and Data Integration Capabilities", especially by taking responsibility for the secrets storage solution using HashiCorp Vault.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on the AWS cloud platform.
• Develop infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, containerization, and orchestration using tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Setup, maintain and operate a secrets storage solution using HashiCorp Vault.
• Design and develop CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable seamless deployment of applications and services.
• Lead the implementation of automated testing and continuous integration processes to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Lead the setup and configuration of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to understand their needs and provide DevOps support.
• Provide and integrate solutions for security scanning and vulnerability assessment into the developer tool portfolio and CI / CD pipelines.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure and application incidents to ensure stable operation.
