How to become a Shopify Solution Consultant / Business Development Manager on the scandiweb eCommerce expert team?

We are seeking a proactive, business-savvy Shopify Solution Consultant / Business Development Manager to join our growing team. You will act as the critical bridge between our technical teams and clients, helping them understand how Shopify and its vast ecosystem can be leveraged to solve complex eCommerce challenges.

What do we expect from a Shopify Solution Consultant / Business Development Manager?

  • 2+ years in business development, solution consulting, or pre-sales within eCommerce, SaaS, or digital agencies;
  • Hands-on familiarity with Shopify (store setup, app selection, integrations);
  • Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, OMS, and 3PL systems;
  • Ability to communicate value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Strong questioning, listening, and consultative problem-solving skills;
  • Technical literacy : familiarity with Liquid, Hydrogen, HTML, CSS (no coding required);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Confident spoken and written English skills. scandiweb works in an international industry, and we use English as our core language.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global remote team environment.

  • Discover how Shopify and its ecosystem can solve business needs;
  • Articulate the business value of Shopify solutions clearly and persuasively;
  • Collaborate with developers to scope and propose projects;
  • Stay current on Shopify updates, app trends, and best practices;
  • Build trust-based relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders;
  • Support sales activities with demos, presentations, and proposals;
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
