Infrastructure Engineer (Linux / Unix)
Location : Hybrid Poznań (2 days in the office per week)

Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the infrastructure supporting various environments such as production, development, and testing. The position involves managing and optimizing technical systems for a broad range of platforms across the EMEA region.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the infrastructure systems operate smoothly, meeting performance expectations and maintaining high standards
- Oversee the setup, configuration, and regular updates of server systems and software
applications
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the infrastructure in a swift andefficient manner
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, offering support during non-business hoursDevelop solutions to automate the deployment and scaling of services, using standardizedconfigurations
Build and deploy monitoring tools to detect and address potential issues proactively,escalating when necessary to avoid disruptions
Support developers by setting up and maintaining the environments for coding, testing, and debugging applicationsContribute to the development of internal tools and processes that support the infrastructure and improve operational efficiencyWrite and update comprehensive operational documentation for internal teams to followAutomate routine infrastructure tasks by creating custom scripts and tools as neededRequired Qualifications and Skills
At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical support or infrastructure roleA minimum of 3 years working with Linux / Unix -based systemsPractical knowledge of virtualization technologies and their applicationHands-on experience with container orchestration tools like KubernetesProficient communication skills in EnglishStrong experience with managing Linux / Unix environments and serversFamiliarity with using Kubernetes for container management and orchestrationCompetency in at least one scripting language for automationExperience with version control systems (such as Git)Working knowledge of configuration management tools, including Puppet or AnsibleFamiliarity with load balancing systems like HAProxyExperience with managing physical hardware and serversSolid understanding of web protocols, including HTTPDesirable Additional Skills
Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS or AzureExperience with performance monitoring tools for infrastructure health managementKnowledge of SAN (Storage Area Network) systems and technologiesWhat we offer
