What is Global Corporate Actions team responsible for?

Are you ready to dive deep into the world of finance and gain exposure on a global stage?

If so, we invite you to join our Global Corporate Actions team at Franklin Templeton.

Our department plays a critical role within the organization, responsible for researching, monitoring, and processing corporate action events for more than 70,000 assets worldwide. From high-profile events like the InPost IPO, Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, Ukrainian debt restructuring, to the Disney acquisition of 21st Century Fox, our team handles some of the most impactful developments in the financial markets.

Based in Poznań, our team gathers market intelligence and manages corporate actions across global markets and diverse asset classes, including equities, debt, warrants, private capital instruments, Depositary Receipts, and blockchain-based tokens.

As part of Franklin Templeton, you'll collaborate with Portfolio Managers, custodian banks, corporations, and legal counsel on complex financial restructurings and initial public offerings. What are the ongoing responsibilities of Corporate Actions Analyst / Sr Analyst ?

Conduct proactive and comprehensive research on market corporate actions, including direct communication with companies, transaction advisory teams, and data vendors such as Bloomberg.

Ensure accurate processing, review, and reconciliation of all corporate action events across global markets and asset classes, in strict accordance with established procedures and deadlines.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with various international stakeholders and partners.

Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing workflow efficiency, strengthening the control environment, and driving automation initiatives.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and organizational abilities.

A solid understanding of various financial asset classes, including equities, debt instruments, options, and tokens.

Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to grasp broader market contexts and connect related corporate events.

A high degree of self-reliance, accountability, and discipline in managing work responsibilities.

Basic knowledge of, or a keen interest in, SQL, VBA, or Power BI—a plus but not mandatory.
