Responsibilities :
Execution of Regional Species Plans and Brand Planning :
- Contribute to marketing planning for the Poultry, Swine & NH assigned brands.
- Execute the roll out of Marketing Campaigns to achieve Sales Targets in line with specific objectives as identified in the annual Category Plans.
- Lead and develop supportive programs and projects to meet marketing objectives. Responsible for deliverables and execution of such programs.
- Build metrics to track success and identify gaps versus planned outcomes.
Coordination of the production and supply of all support / promotional material :
Prepare marketing communications items, such as leaflets, posters, detailers and merchandise aligned with Global and Regional platforms and directions (Global and Local brands). Design and supply items for local brands where and when required. Partner closely with the technical consultants and involvement with them in marketing materials.Working closely with internal personnel and external agencies involved in the production and final approval of all artwork and ensuring compliance with industry and internal organizational regulatory requirements.Partner with Regulatory Department to ensure that all promotional material meets all legal requirements and is aligned with the latest product registration certificate.A&P planning / Expenditure & Sales Forecasting :
Budgetary Management : Brands are supported by an Advertising and Promotions (A&P) budget, used to fund campaigns and promotions. It is the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to manage this budget, to ensure appropriate allocation of resources.Customer Centricity :
Analyze needs and requirements by interacting with customers and sales teams, determining appropriate market research to determine customer needs and to identify the competitive pricing.Spend time in the field as needed to support Sales teams, meeting customers and consumers and gathering feedback on a first-hand basis.Develop a deep understanding of the customer and customer needs.Observe brand and product pricing, exposure and price control.Engage with Elanco Strategic account teams & represent swine & poultry brands.Develop and maintain business relationships with key business partners :
Build positive relationships with relevant external bodies, such as KOLs, advertising agencies, key vendors etc.Promote the Elanco brand internally and externally to build engagement.Launch readiness – own the marketing component of product launches / Geo-expansion activities.What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications) :
Degree level in life science or business qualification.3+years marketing experience in Animal Health or comparable businesses.One CEE language & fluency in English language is essential.Positive attitude and fit with Elanco cultural pillars.Empathy and strong passion for the veterinary animal health business, as well farm animal agriculture.Driver’s license.What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) :
MBA or professional marketing qualification is a plus, but not mandatory.Focused on customers and with developed insights of customer value requirements and to be able to articulate these requirements into meaningful brand product positions.An understanding of multiple channel (vet, wholesaler, distributor, pharmacy) marketing environments is advantageous.Demonstrated experience in working effectively with teams and various functional areas such as research, development, marketing services, finance, customer service, and business development.A results driven team player able to work in and with a proactive team with a high degree of customer focus.Very good organizational and implementation skills.Ability to influence and to lead without formal authority.Personal accountability and strong drive for execution.Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.Stress resilient & solution oriented.Additional Information :
